Beer | ABV | Score | Notes |
---|---|---|---|
BrewDog - Hardcore IPA | 9.00 | I actually thought this tasted almost barley wine'ish'. An exlosion of different flavours, loads of hops with a real resinous taste to it. My beer of the festival. | |
BrewDog - Chaos Theory | 7.10 | Fantastic, rich and hoppy ale. I love this brewery, consistently brilliant beer. | |
Goose Eye - Over and Stout | 5.20 | I really liked this, relatively simple with dry roasted malt and a little chocolate. Simple yet effective. | |
Abbeydale - Absolution | 5.30 | Sweet, malty beer. Fruity and a little syrupy, almost there but something was missing. | |
Thornbridge / Thornbridge Hall - Rakau | 5.00 | Tasted like farm. Grassy and a little fruity. Weird and not sure I liked it. | |
Clark's (sometimes shown as Westgate Brewery) - Hells Bells IPA | 6.70 | This tasted like rotten apples, made my eyes water. The barman said he thought it was off, he was right. Got a replacement. |
