Looked the same as always. Didn't fancy either beer so moved on.

I went to the Lyme Bay micro first, which was very busy but I gave up queuing and came here. Fairly quiet, probably due to the sea fret outside.

Came and read a book on complexity. Someone else was reading a book too but theirs was clearly funnier. Not many others in either.

9:30pm and fairly busy. I had planned to do a bit of fishing instead but the weather was bad so I blew it out.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Lyme Regis - Town Mill Best4.50GoodThe alcohol is s touch too obvious and it is a touch too cloying but it's possible the best example of this I've had

First pint in Lyme. Fairly busy for the Royal Lion when I arrived but empty by 10pm. I do like the Royal Lion.

Well tradition dictates the start of the week is here. I probably note ever year that the Bass is long gone but a Town Mill beer is on. The Royal Lion is the same as ever; bet Dorothy L Sayers stayed here.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Lyme Regis - Town Mill Best4.50AcceptableBit warm but in good condition. I just don't like this beer much. It's a bit soapy and has an oaky resinous woody flavour that isn't overly pleasant. But hey, it's local!

After the Otter Bitter at the Harbour Inn I wanted another pint. Quiet-ish. I do like this Hotel bar.
