Late afternoon crowded around the bar but plenty of space elsewhere. Echoing ChrisE's comments re bus times last 2A back to Ashford is now at 19.05. I remember when it was 23.32!

Mid afternoon friendly welcome, not too busy plenty of room around the bar we chose the ubiquitous wobbly table out of a possible 3 wobbly tables.

Under new management since my last visit and all seems well. I did not make a note of all the beers on offer but they seemed to be from local breweries. We sat in the lounge area to the right as you enter and had this area to ourselves. We would probably have stayed for another but the buses stop running well before it gets dark so we made do with just the one pint each.

Very busy tonight as Old Dairy brewery were sponsoring free Red Top from 17:30 to 18:30 (and later free Gold Top across the road in the White Lion)to celebrate the opening of their new brewery in the town.
