Northern (see also Blakemere) - Blakemere Snowy Owl | 4.10 | Gold, thin lasting white head. Odd mix of diacetyl and flowery floral hop on aroma. Floral golden ale is quite good, never too ascetic, but aroma puts me off a bit.
Northern (see also Blakemere) - Blakemere Gold | 4.30 | Slightly sweaty sox on the hop but decent golden ale, fullish in mouth. Hops are ok if a bit muted. Pale malts are fullish. OK.

The pub is found in Liverpool, Merseyside, L8 7LY.
Wonderful antiquarian pub just off Catherine Street in Egerton Street. Dark brown pub, with low level lighting that creates an intimate atmosphere. Multiple rooms are served by a narrow bar. Walls have photos/pictures as well as bric-a-brac on shelves around the pub. Old radios are hung from the ceiling in one room. Worth coming to, just for the interesting interior. Local CAMRA branch Pub of the Year 2019.
We have visited this pub 3 times, seen 10 different beers and tried 4 of them.
