Late morning and start of our group of 25 or so's coach tour across the moors to Newcastle. Already fairly busy with a mix of folk having their late breakfasts and others starting off on a long day on the beer!

Rufus entered the city through Botchergate. The long-demolished gateway has given its name to today's street - Botchergate. 8 handpumps in 2 banks, each of 4.
