Afternoon visit, table service only at the moment. There were fifteen in our group so we sat outside and watched the world go by. Good friendly service.

Came here in 2001 and it was like a country pub. Now it's like a country pub someone's tried to make into a town pub. Bit of a shame really but that's life.

16:35 Crawl over, stopped here as halfway house on the way back to the station. We were the only customers and the barman indulged our musical tastes with finding our requests on the pub's music system.

17:05 Last stop for two of us. One of our party had a spectacular fall flat on his back but I was in the Gents and missed it.

15.00 Post shopping waiting for a mate. Got the pub to myself.

20:00 Quite busy. More interesting beer choice than usual.

18:10 Fairly quiet. New furniture, my favourite round table has gone. Shame.

20:00 Very busy, mainly diners.

This pub had had a very busy lunch time, and the glass washing machine was struggling to cope with demand. It was a nice sunny day so many people were drinking outside which made it quite comfortable inside. I have only listed one of the beers that were on offer, but there was a very acceptable range to choose from.
