We popped in here to see just the usual choices on offer and enjoyed our beers in this quiet relaxed and comfortable spacious pub with muted football games playing on the TV screens.

We arrived just before 12.00 opening and already a few others in. We opted to sit outside at the side terrace and enjoyed our drinks on a rare of late warm dry and sunny day.

Mid afternoon a few gathered around the bar area, friendly welcome in this cosy comfy pub with the crackling log fire regularly topped up during our short stay. Not been here for over 12 years or so and nothing seemed to have changed..
