evening - thought I would revisit this surprisingly pleasant pub from my 2014 tour - unfortunately not inspiring - very quiet, almost deathly.
Ramsgate Brewery (Gadds') - No. 7 | 3.80
Wantsum - Montgomery (was SS Richard Montgomery) | 4.00 | Not Tried

Good barmaid.
Ramsgate Brewery (Gadds') - Festiv'Ale | 3.80 | | A refreshing pint... If only to take away the taste of Hopfuzz Goldsmith (see separate review) |

Quiet on a Tuesday night, as you might expect. I steamed in and order Goldsmith (Hopfuzz) and the barmaid was like, you might like to try that first. Good advice. We then chatted and she knows her ale.
Hop Fuzz - Goldsmith | 4.00 | | Minging. Tasted ok, until I was hit by a sourness that I didn't enjoy. It was fairly new on... but 2 or 3 had been pulled, so I don't know. My advice is def try b4 u buy! |

We arrived soon after the 4pm opening and were the only customers at first, but it was not long before a good trade built up.

On entering we were the only people in. On leaving, 3 others were there. Nice pub with good juke box.
Ramsgate Brewery (Gadds') - No. 7 | 3.80 | | Meaty. Quality beer. No messing around. |

First time I've been in here and I quite liked it. Part of the 3 pub chain of the Carpenter's Arms and the Bell & Crown. Down to earth corner boozer showing rugby league on TV and conversations about rabbits and train timetables.
Whitstable - East India Pale Ale (or EIPA) | 4.10 | | Excellent condition, good sherberty flavours. |

Walked past a couple of days ago and saw 'Whitstable IPA' chalked up on the board. See, pays to advertise. Very friendly and the landlord poured off about a pint and inspected the next pull before giving us ours. Felt very relaxed and friendly. I'll be back.
Whitstable - East India Pale Ale (or EIPA) | 4.10 | | Good bready malt with citric hop. Could have drank it all day - wish I had. |

Two handpulls at the bar but only one beer on. No problem though, it was Whitstable EIPA. Only a couple of people in an a Saturday lunchtime. Football on the TV.
Whitstable - East India Pale Ale (or EIPA) | 4.10 | | 1st pint of the day. If you're only going to have one beer on, then you can't do much better than this. Excellent. |
