| Wye Valley - Butty Bach | 4.50 | ![]() | This Herefordshire golden ale, Butty Bach, the Welsh term meaning ‘little friend’, presented very good head and lacing and lasting. A hoppy sweet first hit from its Maris Otter and Crystal malts. A dry fruited hoppiness rising from its Fuggles, Goldings and Bramling Cross hops. A good fruited note lingering on its downwards journey. The Wye Valley Brewery's beers, launched in 1985, can be found in 1,200 pubs and bars throughout the West Midlands and South Wales and has gone from 10 brewers' barrels a week to an average of 1,000 barrels per week. |
