Sunny afternoon and half a dozen in the garden. 4 ales available. Lots of space in a sunny courtyard. Heaters set up for the cold evenings.

Early evening visit for an old boy's 72nd birthday celebrations for which he was in the chair. Almost as many dogs as people here it seemed, often enjoying lounging in the hay bales. Time to leave perhaps when a couple of glasses were spilt and smashed on the cobbled floor.

Late afternoon to early evening visit, busy with many local dog walkers in attendance. Our group found tables at the rear of the pub.

Early evening from opening time onwards, the pub soon became busy with people ostensibly taking their dogs out for the evening. A friend of ours provided birthday drinks which were much appreciated.
