Fourth visit of this Worthing outing: A haven for real ale enthusiasts with five real ales to choose from. Busy for drinkers and no dining it appeared was catered for in this smallish old Victorian pub. Prompt, friendly service and a high stool and table not far from the bar to be had for my late afternoon visit.

North Riding Brewery - Irish Cream Stout5.50GoodThis Irish Cream Stout* brewed just outside Scarborough, North Yorkshire, in the village of Snainton, presented very good head and lasting well with its creaminess on top. A chocolatey first bite. A roasted malty bitterness rising and emanating from its five different malts and oats. A dry hoppiness winning over before sailing downwards from being typically brewed with traditional English hops like Bramling. Certainly, served in good condition with its creaminess a lasting feature. *Its authentic Irish Cream flavouring is added post-fermentation to preserve that aroma and taste of the liqueur.

A big pub. Not too busy. Friendly staff, just could have done with a few more people in to add to the atmosphere. They had a Siren tap take over.

22:15 Last pub of the day and a good endpoint. An excellent freehouse, friendly, welcoming, and a good range of beers. Quickly got into conversation with the other customers, including one who knew our driver from time spent working at GBBF.
