This is the only pub,or pub location, that I can see from our house:while visible,it has slipped off my radar, and I very rarely visit.I came for a late afternoon meeting of environmentalists and farmers.

Lunchtime - swift half after the Dering Arms visit. Much better feel to this - a few drinkers scattered about, fire on the go.

The pub is found in Pluckley, Kent, TN27 0QS.

Large imposing pub in The Street, near the churchyard - allegedly one of the most haunted inns in the country. Two large front bar areas and an adjoining dining area off to one side. Wood beamed and wooden floor with plenty of interesting artefacts. By 2021, with new tenants, regarded itself as a restaurant with drinkers not welcomed. Closed suddenly without warning in November 2023. Reopened 14th September 2024 and selling cask ales again.

We have visited this pub twice, seen 5 different beers and tried 2 of them.
