The buses from the Wheatsheaf to here would have taken 40 mins so we walked the 30 mins, on a road across a watery meadow. The pub was okay. It had the potential to be lovely but the interior needed some work.

A few in, interesting range but at £3.80 per pint I'm expecting better.....

A pub based on the outskirts of Northampton at Kingsthorpe in Manor Road. An 18th century listed stone-built pub with low beams and an uneven floor in the main bar. A further lounge bar is to the rear, with a small snug off from the bar. Local CAMRA branch Pub of the Year 2024.
