My first visit here. Although it is a large pub, it was uncomfortably crowded early on a Saturday evening. I was unable to take note of the other beers available, but there were lots of them.

| Dow Bridge - Bonum Mild | 3.50 | | A proper East Midlands mild, ruby/black in colour with sweet malt flavours of caramel, liquorice and toffee. Very little hoppiness and a fruity finish. My score 17/20. |
