The pub has recently changed hands (according to a bit sign on the fount of the building). The inside looks much like it did but perhaps a bit more polished.

| Greene King - Ale Fresco | 4.30 | | Ummm... an interesting one. Imagine a pint of Harvey's Best Bitter crossed with Lemon Jif. It had a underlying maltiness if you searched for it through the overpowering citrus taste. To start with I thought it was quite nice but after the first half a pint I was beginning to have second thoughts. |

Bit smokey inside but mainly cigar smoke. In fact there were a large number of cigar smokers. Although it was very dark out there was a flood light outside that hit the window blind and illumiated the room giving the feel of a doctors waiting room. The landlord and lady were friendly and it was very relaxed
