I had planned to visit Nottingham’s new ‘Micro Pub’, which is opening this lunchtime, but the break in the rain tempted me instead to walk out along the south bank of the swollen Trent to Radcliffe. Most tables laid for Sunday lunch and the bustle around the bar suggests that quite a crowd is expected. The pub has been beautified since I was last in here.

The pub is found in Radcliffe on Trent, Nottinghamshire, NG12 2BE.

In Main Road, a modernised, high street pub with a smart decor. Really now all one room, but you could say that there are three different drinking areas, in a split-level arrangement. Lost the "Horse" in its name in 2015.

We have visited this pub twice, seen 10 different beers and tried 3 of them.
