Tuesday lunchtime and I think we we the first customers at 1pm. Limited beers - two handpumps with clips but the one I had was in excellent condition. Food menu is a little different - where else can you get sprats these days?

This pub has been bought out by the owners of the Bull also in Benenden and renamed the KITTY FISHER. Opening night was Saturday 5 April 2014. Has been moved up-market with an intimate restaurant specialising in seafood and vegetarian apparently. Separate bar area with a cosy feel to it, candlelight and no music. About a dozen of so people in and we enjoyed some complementary giant prawns and ordered a rather good cheese board to accompany the wine and beer.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Tonbridge - Coppernob3.80ExcellentBright and full bodied, especially tasty for a 3.8 beer.
Old Dairy (being contract brewed after it closed) - Gold Top4.30GoodGood condition and body. Well rounded and malty .
