Sat in the garden, which was lovely. I came on the hope for a good pint of Westerham beer.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Westerham - Grasshopper Kentish Bitter3.80PoorNow I don't mind paying £3.20 a pint if it's kept brilliantly, but this was poor and I found myself pouring the rest of it away as I returned to the bar. Shame as I like this pub, but this didn't make a good impression beer-wise

Not quite as full as last week in the restaurant area but nonetheless it was very busy when my wife and I and 2 friends went for our lunchtime meal which was most enjoyable and well priced. The bar area seemed well patronised as well.

Very busy restaurant this Sunday lunchtime possibly helped by the fact that Sunday roasts were at a very reduced price. Most tasty meal. Friendly reception behind the bar and from the rest of the staff.

Came early evening for a meal. The pub has been updated a bit since I was last here (...but that was years ago). There's a public bar and a restraunt with a kind of restaurant waiting area inbetween. Friendly service and the food was good.

Banks's - Young's London Original (was Bitter) - previously brewed in Bedford and at Wychwood3.70ExcellentThis was really good. Fresh with a sweet malt and well ballanced hop flavour. Even my dad liked it.

Lovely pub at the foot of the hills below Pluckley and Egerton. Restaurant to the left and public bar to the right. Central bars service both areas. There is also a large garden with plenty of seating. Public bar has a real fire and a pool table and dart board in a separate room. Large screen TV in one corner but that does not dominate this low lit very nice bar. Reasonably busy on a Wednesday night with 3 beers on
BeerABVScoreNotes
Robinsons - Old Stockport3.40AcceptableCopper colour with lastin gwhite head. Nice bitter hops, bit watery in mouth with hoppy dry finish, slightly yeasty
