A Wetherspoon conversion of a former post office building and Firkin pub in a pedestrianised part of Railway Street, which opened on 19th July 2016 after an alleged £2.2m transformation. Large open floored pub on several levels with an open to view kitchen and extra seating upstairs. An impressive arch leads off the street into a paved courtyard garden with a roof balcony. 12 handpumps in 2 banks, each of 6.
