Last time I was here (over 20 years ago) this was a Hooden pub serving Summer Lighting. Not anymore. Nice interior.

Lunchtime on a gloomy and cold November Thursday.I was nearby, and decided to call in.I'm sure I hadn't been in since it was a Hooden Horse. The lay-out seemed different, but I gather it had changed hands frequently. Several couples eating, roaring fires and a friendly welcome.

Took my eye as I was cycling past about 1:30. Scaffolding outside - but the inside was pristine in a bistro sort of way. Just two other customers lunching. I had a swift half and went on my way, not really my type of pub. Had a rather pleasant unfined (but clear) ale from Three Legs. Yellow Best, 4.2%
