Bristol Beer Factory - Seven4.20PoorUgh. After it was poured the early shift barmaid sitting this side of the bar said to the late turn one "I did not sell any earlier, have you" and a negative reply came. Should have known it would be awful. Not quite bad enough to return or perhaps in retrospect it was. Left about a third and skedaddled.

Evening. After I had sidestepped to get in the narrow front door a warm welcome inside a locals' boozer. £2.50 per pint on Mondays warmed the soul even further. I liked this place's workaday feel.

Turned up hoping to get a bite to eat but it turns out they don't do food on a Saturday. Oh well, it'll have to be liquid lunch. Friendly and due to its size, intermate

The pub is found in Bristol, Avon, BS2 0JF.

A small pub by the river bridge with a large Jimi Hendrix mural on its outside upper walls. Spartan single bar bare-boarded interior with a narrow front bar area, so narrow that there's only a bench with no table. The entrance door is very narrow and a sideways manoeuvre may be required! The end of the bar has a padded bench round the edge with a handful of tables. Fairly modern and clean-cut with pictures of movie stars on the walls. Very small toilets. Prides itself on real ales from 5 stainless steel handpumps and on a range of malt whiskies. At March 2013 Monday is real ale for £2.50 per pint day.

We have visited this pub 6 times, seen 15 different beers and tried 9 of them.
