Now up to 6 handpumps. The beer I was after was to the side, accessed under very low beams and an obstacle course of closely spaced tables. I did find my quarry though!

Last pub for Phil and me on the Sunday evening. Phil stood up too quickly at the end and gave himself a real dinger on the head from the low beams. Three hand pumps on and a good atmosphere inside.

Nice dark fruits in mouth. Really lovely choc, damson, blackberry, blackcurrant flavour, but not sour. Lovely porter. |

The pub is found in East Peckham, Kent, TN12 5LA.
Wonderful pub next to the River Bourne in Tonbridge Road, in the low lying area of the Medway Valley. Lots of low ceilings, beams, wood and a central large inglenook fireplace. There is seating outside for good weather. The single bar serves several rooms.
We have visited this pub twice, seen 4 different beers and tried 2 of them.
