Visits Details

09 Nov 2024 (Hogan Sampling)
My third visit of the day and downhill after The Garibaldi, and heading in the direction of Reigate, the home of the Pilgrim Brewery. The Hatch, dating from the 17th century, has been run by them since mid-2022. A few in for this still early afternoon visit and a warm welcome and prompt service.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Pilgrim - Progress Best Bitter4.00GoodVery good head and lacing. A moreishly bitter mouthfeel made this a great pleasure to sup.

Mid afternoon a few others dotted about in this ex Shep's pub. Unnecessary loud tinny music playing plus a couple of children running about detracted from an otherwise comfortable atmosphere.
