| Harvey's - Old Ale (or Sussex XXXX Old Ale) | 4.30 | ![]() | 3rd beer of this visit: Very good head and lacing sticking to the end on this Lewes-brewed old ale. A spicy bitter first hit. A maltiness rising up alongside a good bitter note with flavourings of burnt sugars and roasted malts. Hints of dried fruit coming to the fore alongside the odd date or two clinging onto the Christmas tree's branches before their abseiling downwards. |
| Harvey's - Sussex Best Bitter | 4.00 | ![]() | 2nd beer of this visit: Good head and lacing and lasting on this Sussex Best Bitter from Lewes. A dry bitter first bite. A lightly fruited moreish hoppiness climbing up and prevailing aided by its a blend of four different local varieties. A good dry bitter note hanging on with all its might on the sleigh ride downwards. |
| Harvey's - Sisters Table Beer | 3.40 | ![]() | 1st beer of this visit: Very good head and lacing on this Sussex light bitter from Lewes and which was becoming thankfully the recurring theme of all the visits of the day. Its lacing held steadfastly on. A lightly fruited first hit. A hoppy bitterness climbing up with a good fruited note joining in. A dry but fruited bitterness lingering. It has been brewed in tribute to the remarkable women who have made invaluable contributions to Harvey’s over the years, and the brewery’s close association with the Seven Sisters cliffs. |

The pub is found in Chipstead, Kent, TN13 2RZ.
Originally a terrace of cottages this pub in Chevening Road has a separate restaurant and drinking area. One of the few Harvey's houses in Kent.
We have visited this pub twice, seen 4 different beers and tried them all.
