It used to difficult to get here by public transport so I decided to try the new demand response bus system that operates in the Sevenoaks area. I arrived at Sevenoaks railway station and asked the app for a bus to Chipstead, I was offered one in three minutes and accepted that offer. I was amused by a sign which read "slow pedestrians crossing" as I can cross a road as quickly as the best of them. The pub was thriving with a good mix of wet and food sales. Well worth the effort of coming here. I tried the app again and was offered a bus to Sevenoaks in either 8 or 42 minutes, I chose the latter so that I could try the near by George & Dragon.
