Surrey Hills - Shere Drop | 4.20 | Fresh on for my 2nd visit of the day with superb head and lacing. A local brew from just outside Dorking. A moreishly hoppy, bitter mouthfeel with malt flavours. It had a pleasingly long and dry finish. | |

The pub is found in Merstham, Surrey, RH1 3EA.
In High Street, Grade II listed and remarkable for its multi-balconied and half-timbered construction. Two frosted and etched door windows (one exterior, one interior) depict the Prince of Wales's feathers. A fine original heavy wooden bar survives with ornate pillars. A number of small cast-iron fireplaces are in Art Nouveau style.
We have visited this pub once, seen 4 different beers and tried 1 of them.
