Visits Details

31 Oct 2024 (Hogan Sampling)
Visited twice early afternoon, firstly to enquire about breakfast and secondly, after a cooked breakfast instead offered in a local cafe, to sample a real ale from 4 on and before my local walk to Gatton Park on the North Downs Way. A warm welcome from the barman who told me he also hoped to attend the Redhill Beer Festival later that day and being held in the village hall around the corner and which I was heading to after my local walk. A good few diners and some drinkers also in.

Surrey Hills - Shere Drop4.20ExcellentFresh on for my 2nd visit of the day with superb head and lacing. A local brew from just outside Dorking. A moreishly hoppy, bitter mouthfeel with malt flavours. It had a pleasingly long and dry finish.
