| Dartmoor - Legend | 4.40 | ![]() | Head and lacing, very good, and lasting, good, on this Devon bitter from England's highest brewery in Station Road, Princetown. While the station is long-gone, the brewing tradition thankfully is alive and kicking. A fruity bitter first bite. A gentle maltiness coming to the fore along with a spice-infused malty note bobbing up and down with a hint of caramel. A dry hoppy bitterness winning over and a pleasantly hop-infused fruitiness drifting off down my hatch. |

The station is long-gone but the brewing tradition thankfully alive and kicking. Lacing lasting to start with and so only fair. A dry bitter first hit. The pub is found in Sheet, Hampshire, GU32 2AH.
In the centre of the sleepy village of Sheet is this two-bar pub in Village Street overlooking the village green. The lounge bar ceiling is adorned with rugby shirts from the Petersfield Pub Rugby Sevens competition. The public bar sports a more rustic-look about it with ceiling beams. A changing range of 4 cask ales and food.
We have visited this pub twice, seen 6 different beers and tried 1 of them.
