Arundel - Castle | 3.80 | On the pumps as Fox Goes Free Best Bitter, brewed at Arundel.I think it was this.Anyway, a pleasant Best, with a bit more in the way of hops and condition than the Ballard's. Brown, not boring.
Otter - Amber | 4.00 | A different one, this-spicy, with almost a seaweedy tang.Had a quick half : would like to try more.
Ballards (now a sub-brand of Greyhound) - Best Bitter | 4.10 | Not in tiptop condition, but a good best bitter, with plenty of malt.Good chestnut colour.
Otter - Ale | 4.50 | Not Tried |

Ballards (now a sub-brand of Greyhound) - Best Bitter | 4.10 | Copper coloured. Initially malty and one dimensional, but after a few minutes the hops won through, leading to a well balanced traditional Best, well capable of coping with the epic steak and kidney pie that we consumed crammed into the inglenook.
Hop Back - Summer Lightning | 5.00 | Not Tried | Was tempted for old time's sake, but I had serious business to attend to. |
Harvey's - Sussex Best Bitter | 4.00 | Not Tried | There was also a HouseBeer-I couldn't ascertain its origin. |
