16:00 Very late lunch as all catering facilities were closed at the Midland Railway Centre. I can recommend the faggots and mash, especially with a pint of porter.

Nice pub on the Nottingham inner ring road not far from the Broadmead Shopping Centre on Canal Street. Central bar serves several drinking areas. Conservatory and rear pub garden. Sky Sports is shown on the TVs. 9 handpumps supply regulars, guests and a cider. Real ale discount for card carrying CAMRA members (on pints only).
