Evening visit having fallen out of Canalhouse to slip slide in the heavy rain for 30 seconds. Good to see the local Linclon Green at £3 pp. The Christmas revellers mysteriously wafted away at 2045 hours.

Late Saturday evening and the pub was reasonably busy with afternoon shoppers looking for a rest and also a fair number of people watching the football. Had a good feel to it and it was good to try the house micro brewery beers

Nice pub on the Nottingham inner ring road not far from the Broadmead Shopping Centre on Canal Street. Central bar serves several drinking areas. Conservatory and rear pub garden. Sky Sports is shown on the TVs. 9 handpumps supply regulars, guests and a cider. Real ale discount for card carrying CAMRA members (on pints only).
