We arrived around 15 minutes before opening however the staff were expecting us so kindly opened early. Modernised since my last visit many years ago but keeps its relaxed and comfortable atmosphere with soft background music to set the scene. Just the one RA available thankfully it wasn't Doom Bar!

Afternoon visit from about 1pm. Popular with diners until 3pm when the kitchen closes for the afternoon, a good local wet trade for the rest of the afternoon. A good friendly atmosphere.

Late afternon/early evening visit and starting to get a bit cold, we sat near a heater that was on timed switch so we took it in turns to get up and press the button. We enjoyed a very good meal here before boarding the last bus at 19:00.

Late afternoon to early evening visit to have a pint or two before catching my last bus home. Fortunately my real time journey planner informed me that my bus was running 30 minutes late so that was an excuse for a further pint. The pub was very quiet at first but started to get busy from 6pm onwards. This pub is run by Albanians and there were many Albanian customers eating the excellent cuisine in here, my friend asked "Where do all these Albanians come from?" She got the obvious answer. We only had beer but I am looking forward to my next opportunity to sample some more of the food in here.

Early evening visit until just before 7pm to catch my last bus home. The drinking area was full to capacity but we were offered seats in the restaurant area. This pub seems to be getting increasingly popular.

A telephone call from the guv to a friend of mine said the pub would open at 4pm today. She wanted to be first one in after lockdown so we were in at 3.40pm with the first couple of pints of Harvey's on the house to make sure that it was in good nick. The best pub in the immediate area, we enjoyed some excellent Mediterranean food along with several pints of Harvey's.

Evening for some Greek food and a few pints. A fair number of exiles from the former Old Plantation (now closed) in here tonight. Nice to see this place busy.

My first visit since the recent refurbishment. There were sincere apologies from the staff because the Harvey's was not quite ready but the alternatives were quite acceptable. I was invited to a free breakfast early next week when they will be doing a trial run before opening regularly in the morning.
