Well I see that Chris E gets in here a bit so it must be worth a visit. Just after 2 - a few drinkers enjoying themselves. Friendly chat with the barmaid. It appears to be a good honest boozer but another with limited ale choice.

Thursday evening and some very welcome rain was starting to cool things down after a very hot day. A good crowd in here tonight, I had a good chat with one of the regulars about the GBBF.

In Beaver Road, 10 minutes south of the railway station. L-shaped corner pub with a pool table down one end. Locals pub with 3 handpumps, juke box, TV and train pictures on the wall. This pub gives a CAMRA members' discount.
