Afternoon visit and the garden area was busy. This was the first day of reopening under new management and a new name after a period of closure, COVID restrictions meant that only the garden area could open today, it will be interesting to see how this pub does once things settle down.

Now with new tenants, I spoke to the incoming guv and he told me that Doom Bar would return to the pumps here and that John Smiths Smooth would also be making a come back. The beers in the future should consist of Sharp's Doom Bar, Atlantic and one guest ale.

I had a good chat with Annie, the current landlady and enjoyed a couple of pints which were the best of today's visits. This pub is currently being advertised as a business opportunity.

Friday evening with a very loud rock band playing. I had to order by pointing to the pump clip and using sign language as I could not make myself heard above the band. One pint and away.

Lunchtime visit, I had a good chat with the representative from EI Group who was sitting at the bar. The landlady informed me that she intends to showcase Kent Green Hop Beers in the near future.

The pub is found in Willesborough, Kent, TN24 0QR.
In Hythe Road, the pub changed its name in 2009 to Windmill Inn from The Fox. On entry there is a bar area facing you with tables and chairs occupying most of the one large room. There is a spacious L-shaped area outside with benches, some of which are under a canopy. Being renovated during closure in 2020 with stated plans to re-open as The New Fox Inn.
