The last port of call on a Camra mini-bus trip. ~We were almost the only customers, and we sat in a relaxed atmosphere listening to Classic FM and enjoying some beers until slightly after the official 6pm Sunday closing time. I had a good chat with the tenants about beers and pubs.

This pub used to be closed on Mondays, so I was somewhat surprised to find it open when I was walking past. I decided to enter and have a pint and listen to the background classical music. There was a very interesting book on Folkestone pubs on one of the tables, I sat down and had a good read whilst enjoying an excellent pint. I did not note all the beers that were on sale.
Rudgate - Ruby Mild | 4.40 | | A fresh cask on, and in really good condition. |
Hogs Back - Tongham TEA (previously T.E.A.) | 4.20 | Not Tried

Mid afternoon and a smattering of customers. Still a compfy place to sit and have a pint.
Adnams - Broadside | 4.70 | | Bit watery in condition, good flavour, and I like the rich fruit and not as good as condition as some of the other beers I had this lunchtime. |
Cotleigh - Barn Owl Bitter | 4.50 | Not Tried
17 Jul 2010 (ChrisE)
I had difficulty in persuading the rest of our group to come here because it is not on any of their lists. They loved it. Unfortunately I forgot to make a list of all the beers on offer.
