Tasting Summary

These comments are the opinion of the individual reviewer and represent what they thought of the beer on a particular day in a particular pub. If a review is less favourable, it may be because the beer suffered somewhere in the supply chain between them and the brewery.

HSBAcceptable19 Nov 2015 I find GK beers have two tastes. Slightly chemical like GKIPA, or overly sweet. This falls into the latter category.

IanPoor13 Nov 2010 If I did not know better I would say the malt here was unattenuated i.e. not fully brewed out. But surely GK would not do that? Pretty dull and left bad taste in my mouth.
AlenomoreExcellent03 Nov 2010 This was actually very good. Dark, rich and spicy. Cant remember what this was like last week, as I've not sample this ale before then. Or was this the XXXB I wonder?
AlenomoreExcellent10 Oct 2010 New to me, this seasonal ale and not bad for GK either!
