Jane was up in the smoke so Isabel and I went to burn off some energy at Reculver. We stayed about 10 minutes before the bitter wind turned us around. Bitter? Yes please. The pub was busy. Blokes sitting about chatting, watching sports scores, drinking beer - just what a pub is all about. I went outside and sat in the garden and froze whilst Isabel did a 2 minute circuit of the play equipment.

The plan had been to stop here for Sunday lunch, midway along a coastal walk. But at 12:30 there were no available tables and it was a bit too chilly to sit outside. So, a quick pint and onwards.
