Early evening on a wet July Wednesday.We sat in our damp clothes after meeting our son, his mate and his blisters on the North Downs Way.Busy with Dutch hikers and locals. Beers from Tonbridge and Whitstable were listed as coming soon.Good pub.

2130 visit. Quite busy in this food led gastro type pub. We sat outsdie in the heated patio area and enjoyed the ales and some very hot, green nuts called Wahiba? Very nice too.

The pub is found in Hollingbourne, Kent, ME17 1UW.
The Dirty Habit is a beautiful 11th Century pub situated in the picturesque Kentish village of Hollingbourne in Upper Street. Closed 9th October 2022 until further notice after a serious fire. Set on The Pilgrims Way in a designated area of natural beauty, with many walks and bike rides from the pub, it has been used by pilgrims on their way to Canterbury for centuries. It is reputed that King James II stayed at the inn whilst on his way to France via Canterbury and Dover.
We have visited this pub 22 times, seen 23 different beers and tried 13 of them.
