Our first visit. Arrived at 13.15 on Sunday and found the car park full and cars parked on the roadside. My first thoughts were they must be doing something right but will there be room for us. No sweat. A spacious bar area with attentive staff soon sorted out a drink for us. There is a separate restaurant that was full but we were able to eat from the same menu in the bar.
Farriers Arms - 1606 | 3.70 | | In very good nick. A good quaffable bitter. |
Farriers Arms - Christmas Ale | 5.20 | | Said 4.8% on the pump clip. A very complex beer with a good nose. The taste reminded me of Belgium beers with more than a hint of brettanomyces. |
Farriers Arms - Harvest Plenty | 4.20 | | A bit more complex than the 1606. Russett coloured with a good mix of malts. |
