Soo unusual this place. Hardly anyone in. How do they keep 20 ciders?? Two beers in polypins. How do they keep them cool in this weather? The 2 beers on handpump were fine. Landlord very chatty and pointing out how good his salsa night would be for us. Dont think so.

First visit here. Like Visiting an art gallery with a real ale and cider theme. Unusual clientèle. 27 ciders on sale alongside paintings dresses etc and every game you can think off. Never been in a place like this.3 beers one called polung station which I cannot find. Place looked like an advert for the Green Party.

I had checked the opening times for this pub on various web sites, so I was disappointed to find it closed at about 4.30pm, the times displayed on the door said it "opens at 5pm but it may be worth ringing the doorbell on the other door, I may be in" I did that and it worked, I sat and chatted to the landlady until the barmaid turned up for work a little before 5pm.

The pub is found in Ramsgate, Kent, CT11 7SP.

Formerly known as the Shakespeare (and the One Hundred & Eighty) this pub in Margate Road has been transformed into a genuine free house and arts centre. It is owned by an opera singer Scheherazade Pesante (so some call the pub Spee's) and specialises in local real ales and ciders. No keg beers or lagers are stocked here. 4 handpumps plus a massive range of boxed ciders on offer. By 2018 seems to have been converted into The Little Tree bed & breakfast with occasional The Great Tree events held.

We have visited this pub 26 times, seen 47 different beers and tried 27 of them.
