Tasting Summary

These comments are the opinion of the individual reviewer and represent what they thought of the beer on a particular day in a particular pub. If a review is less favourable, it may be because the beer suffered somewhere in the supply chain between them and the brewery.

BrianExcellent23 Sep 2005 Wonderfully rich and fresh. Dark chocolate and malty.
BrianGood10 Sep 2005 This is so rich that I could only manage the one.
AndrewAcceptable04 Sep 2005 Sweet with a burnt edge and an oyster rich taste on the finish.
AndrewUndrinkable20 Aug 2005 I'm sure when Brian had this 3 days ago it was as loverly as he said but in those 3 days it had degraded and was now only fit for putting on your chips. I took it back and he took the barrel off and swapped my drink for another so no complaints there.
