I arrived at Sittingbourne railway station only to find the facilities locked out of use. That was a good excuse to visit the nearby Donna's Ale house but the roadworks outside are currently making it very difficult to go anywhere, especially in the dark but the locals are quite enthusiastic about things getting better when it is all finished. A good chat with Donna this evening.

Mid evening, first visit to this new Micropub. The landlady is enthusiastic to get everything right and was touting for recommendations for the best of Kentish beers and ciders. Cosy and nicely furnished.

The pub is found in Sittingbourne, Kent, ME10 1AB.
Shop conversion to a Micropub, formerly a Vaping Café, in West Street which opened on Thursday 21st December 2017. 6 handpumps bringing a good real ale range, with an emphasis on Kentish ones, at last to the centre of the town. Seating is at high benches, tables and stools with contemporary décor. Local ciders too on gravity dispense. Closed Saturday 28th September 2024 at lease expiry.
