Hot day. First visit here in a while and saw Shaun serving for the first time in a while. Halves now £2.50 each.
RCH - Old Slug Porter 4.50 Creamy head and slightly warm on such a warm day by the sea.

Very wet afternoon and popped in for 2 halves in the 2 halves. All halves £2. No strong or dark uns today.
Kent - Ernest 4.50 Nice fruity light beer but badged at 4.2% Shivering Sands - Golden Sands IPA 5.20 This was badged at 4.5%. Not my cup of tea but perfectly acceptable.

Canterbury Ales (sometimes badged as Canterbrew) - Ernest Strong Pale 4.90 New beer for me. A little tasteless for its strength but still pretty good and well served

Thanet poty 22. 4 beers on. First real ale in a few weeks after 3 weeks in Tenerife.
Wantsum - Fortitude (was 4.2%) 4.60 Too bitter for me but in very good nick. £1.80 a half.

Another of Margate's micropubs opened 1700 hours Friday 24th July 2015. On Marine Drive with sea front and harbour views including occasional spectacular sunsets over these. Small bar counter, with temperature controlled cellar room behind from which real ales and cider are dispensed on gravity stillage - 3 tiers each of 3 casks. Unisex toilet. Several normal height tables and chairs provide the seating. Thanet CAMRA branch Pub of the Year 2018 and 2022.
