Afternoon, quiet. First time that I have notice that the old stillage ex The New Mogul is no longer in place.
The garden has a large covered area with soft seats now.

Just a very quick visit as a group of people sitting at the big table were talking very loudly.
Dartford Wobbler (re-named from Millis) - Blakes Bitter | 3.70 | | A house beer, I thought it looked straw coloured in the lighting conditions in the bar but described as amber coloured on the clip. |

Adnams - Lighthouse | 3.40 | Not Tried
Weltons - Ace Ale | 3.70 | Not Tried

It's Monday, it's January, it's 5 PM - handful in all the same, pleasant.
Weltons - Marathon Stout | 5.00 | | Dark, sweet and comforting - like a Winters morning when you can have a lie-in. |

Early evening - handful of regulars in.
Sometimes you want to go where everybody knows your name. Say no more.
1648 - Signature | 4.40 | | Light, refreshing. |
Cottage - Trick or Treat | 4.40 | | Is there a brewer that DOESN'T have a Halloween themed beer? Newly on and bit hazy - needed another few hours to settle?. The regulars agreed it was smooth and nutty. |

Whitstable - Renaissance Ruby Mild | 3.80 | Not Tried

Back to the work local after being on my travels last week - early Tues evening - only four or five in - but warm welcome as always.
Weltons - Broadwood | 4.00 | | First pint a little hazy but this was swapped immediately by the landlady without me asking. A sign of a good ale pub. Great body with an excellent bitter hoppiness that made you want go on supping. |

Privateer Beers - Patriot | 3.90 | Not Tried
Blackhill - Tilley | 3.90 | Not Tried
