12:30 Friend came to visit and we came here for lunch. No rolls today so one pint and moved on. Seven others in not bad for a weekday lunchtime.

17:45 Went to see one of our chums whose friend from Ireland had come over for the weekend. A pleasant gathering of seven of us. The pub was busy.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Dent - Aviator4.00GoodNice balanced bitter
Outrigger - Bitter3.80GoodStandard bitter
Scarborough - Cascades4.10AcceptableBit tired. One of our company had had it earlier in the week and he said it was very hoppy.
16 Nov 2015 (HSB)
17:45 Reasonably busy. They have started announcing beers on sale via their Facebook page, https://www.facebook.com/The-London-Tavern-1577649735779739/timeline/ handy if you want to check before you go.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Coastal - Mosaic Gold4.20GoodNice and hoppy.

17:45 After a day of domestic duties the pub beckoned. Just us and one other at the start but got busier before we left.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Blackhill - Victoria4.20ExceptionalAs near to a perfect pint as I have had. First out the cask, lovely light brown colour, exceptional clarity, hop and malt balance spot on, and a tight but small head. A proper English bitter.
Blackhill - Victoria4.20ExceptionalI couldn't resist another pint of the Victoria. The Paradox had a strong aftertaste and I thought that the Victoria would seem comparatively tasteless afterwards but no. It was superb from the first sip.
North Blyth - Winter Ale4.40GoodAn odd beer. A light beer when I was expecting dark. The pump clip said "citrousy" but it thought it was more vanilla than citrus.
Neath - Paradox4.80GoodAnother odd beer. Described on the clip as a black IPA. Black as your hat, good condition but lightly hopped. The back taste would see it better placed in the old ale spectrum.
26 Oct 2015 (HSB)
18:00 Yet another outing forced by domestic problems. The brewer and the barman had been to the trade session of the Norwich beer festival and discussion ensued about the beers on offer there.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Wolf - Werewolf4.40GoodFull bodied and flavoursome
Wolf - Straw Dogs4.50AcceptableA shadow of its former self.
Wolf - City of Cambridge Boathouse Bitter3.70AcceptableUnmemorable
13 Oct 2015 (HSB)
18:30 An unplanned visit to the Tavern to escape a powerless house. A suspected altercation between a beet lifter and a telegraph pole in the field behind us resulted in a day of fluctuating voltage and then a four hour power cut whilst repairs were carried out. Still the beer was welcome as was the curry afterwards.
BeerABVScoreNotes
St Peter's - Boo!5.20ExcellentA true winter warmer. Dark and luscious.
Just a Minute - Golden Dawn4.30GoodA marmite beer. I enjoyed it but neither of two of my regular drinking chums liked it at all.
04 Oct 2015 (HSB)
11:45 First in. Catch up chat with Steve about brewery progress.

BeerABVScoreNotes
Grain - Year of the Hop 2015 - Dr Rudi4.40ExcellentVery light, dry back taste
Salopian - Shropshire Gold3.80GoodLast out the cask but still good.
Wolf - The Pack3.90GoodYet another rugby beer. Good standard bitter colour, slightly nutty, sweet finish.

Shepherd Neame - Master Brew Bitter3.70Not Tried

17:30 A welcome break after a day spent decorating.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Long Man - Long Blonde3.80ExcellentGood session beer
Cottage - Blindside4.20GoodNot a blond beer! Slightly sweet.
16 Sep 2015 (HSB)
17:30 A trip to Sainsbury's to get a voucher for 12p off a litre of petrol but once in Attleborough the Tavern exerts its siren call. I probably break even. Usual crew in.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Borough (Neath) - Puddlers Pride4.80ExcellentA superb strong bitter.
New Lion - Tea Q94.20ExcellentA citrus beer with Earl Grey. I can't stand the smell of Earl Grey tea but it makes a wonderful partner with hops.
Taylor's Attleborough - On Your Bike4.00Not TriedCelebratory beer for the cycle race coming through town last Saturday.
