A fair few post work drinkers in late on a Thursday afternoon.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Hydes - Golden Find4.10GoodGolden with a predominately biscuity malt flavour with just a little fruity hop in the finish. My score 15/20.
05 Jul 2012 (Philip Pirrip)
Evening visit just at time when pub was very busy handling the swift couple of beers types who were heading for the Essex County Cricket evening limited overs game.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Mighty Oak - IPA3.50ExcellentNot sure why breweries use the epithet IPA for such low gravity beers. Excellent refreshing first beer of the evening nevertheless marred, however, by my top up request being met with snarling grace and a sharp pull of the pump which seemed to add no more volume of liquid

Relative calm compared to the Ale House next door, although still a decent Saturday night trade.
BeerABVScoreNotes

Wibblers - Darker Mild4.30AcceptableDark red/brown and very fruity, with some roast barley.
