Blair		27 Feb 2009	Dark tasty beer with a lot of roasted malt and a little chocolate. There was something missing though and I couldn't figure out what it was.

Ian		23 Jan 2008	I normally pass this up for some reason, why? (Actually I looked at when I had it before and it was a bit on the sour side then). Liquorice, charcoal porter in great condition. I even persuaded our Canandian friend to have a pint of it too.

Ian		02 Apr 2006	Very deep ruby colour with thin beige head. Syrupy fruit aroma, choc/coffee. Oily in mouth and on finish. Touch of sour liquorice which gets stronger as it goes on. OK but not a big fan of this. Like a liquoricey porter
