A group debrief visit on the way back to the Bahnhof, not too busy for a Saturday early evening with many tables free. Beers as listed earlier.

This pub has a lot of memories for me, it was where I had my first pint with the late Roger Marples, where I had my first pint of Gray and Sons beer (price 14p) just before the brewery closed, and where I was signed up to join CAMRA back in 1974. The pub is still owned by Gray and Sons although the company ceased brewing back in 1974. The beer list for today was as already described by others.

The pub is found in Chelmsford, Essex, CM1 1LW.
Highly convenient pub right outside Chelmsford railway station. A small place, with standing areas at the front and compartment seating at the rear, with a small garden behind. 10 handpumps with 4 and 5 at opposite ends of the bar counter plus 1 for cider roughly in the middle.
We have visited this pub 20 times, seen 65 different beers and tried 17 of them.
