A nice pub, a friend of mine was in the other bar enjoying a late breakfast, it looked delicious and the landlady informed me that the sausages come from the butchers nearby so I ordered a sausage sandwich to accompany my beer.

12:00 visit. A short bus journey from Folkestone finds me sampling my first ale of the day on my long weekend around the area and my first visit since childhood to lovely Hythe? Early doors yet for the crowds.

The pub is found in Hythe, Kent, CT21 5AT.
A lovely old Sheps pub found at the Dymchurch end of the High Street. Closed by Sheps in spring 2023 with future now uncertain and then sold it. Re-opened after re-decoration on 1st November 2024.
We have visited this pub 13 times, seen 16 different beers and tried 11 of them.
