15:00 Still busy with diners. Barman told me that Manager tries for local beers to supplement the standard range.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Sambrook's - Pumphouse Pale Ale4.20GoodGood nick but an odd back taste. I find that Sambrook's beers always disappoint.

Mid-evening visit and I stood at the bar talking potatoes and allotments with Leeds Ken.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Hydes - Burnt Sienna5.00GoodAmber coloured. A pleasant, rather spicy hop taste.
Inveralmond - Frisco Steamy4.40AcceptableGolden-coloured. A rather thick, buttery, malt taste – probably shouldn’t have been like this if the festival tasting notes are to be believed.

Quite busy early on a Friday evening – but not a particularly nice atmosphere, and one customer ended up getting “barred for life” after a shouting match out of sight from our seats. Time to move on to the Red Lion.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Wadworth - Blunderbuss5.00GoodA brown, full-bodied, malt-led bitter. Bit of hop in the finish.
Caledonian - Tree Brewing Thirsty Beaver5.00AcceptableChestnut-coloured, malty, nutty and sweetish. Caramel tastes. But in flat condition here and may have more to offer than this.
